Honor 8 Wins International Design Award
The annual International Design Award competition recognizes legendary design visionaries and uncovers emerging talents. This years competition attracted more than 1000 submissions from designers across 52 countries for their work in architecture, interior, fashion, products, and graphics.
The Honor 8 received a silver award in the Media and Home Electronics Competition category for design achievements in design, creativity, usability and innovation.
The Honor 8, first introduced in 2016, combines high-end design and craftsmanship. The phones heavy 2.5D glass and premium finished aluminium alloy is coupled with an ultra-narrow bezel. These design choices among others resulted in a attention grabbing design, stronger build, and seamless feeling in the hand.
IDA was established in 2007 to call attention to and celebrate smart and sustainable multidisciplinary design. aspires to draw attention to the iconoclasm of design world wide, conceptualizing and producing great work.
Winners will be included in IDA's Book of Designs and celebrated at the official IDA Ceremony in Los Angeles.
