HONOR 10X Lite, globally launched on 29th October 2020, is an affordable smartphone with 6.67 inches full view display while weighs only 206g. In this in-depth review, let’s dig into the deep to know every aspect about this model. Let’s dive in.
An image of the back design of HONOR 10X Lite. Midnight black, Emerald Green and Icelandic Frost are available.
Design and Display
Coming in three different colors, midnight black, Emerald Green and Icelandic Frost, the HONOR 10X lite features a punch hole notch, which helps to improve its screen to body ratio to 90%. At 77 x 166 x 9.3mm it weighs only 206g, which is pretty comfortable to hold in hand. Though its back cover is made of plastic, it gives a texture of the glass.
In terms of camera, except for the selfie camera in the front, HONOR 10X Lite has quad cameras at the back, including, an 8MP f/2.4 Ultra-wide camera, 48MP f/1.8 main camera, 2MP f/2.4 depth assist camera, and 2MP f/2.4 Macro camera. The layout of the cameras of HONOR 10X Lite looks similar to the HUAWEI P series.
A Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack are located at the bottom of HONOR 10X Lite. On the right side also at the bottom of the phone, there is a downward-firing speaker grill. The SIM tray is on the left side, while on the right side you can find the volume bottom and power button which is also a fingerprint sensor.

Hardware and software
When speaking of hardware, HONOR 10X Lite is believed to have the best hardware in its price range, probably to compensate a lack of Google Mobile Services. According to the various tutorials online, installing Google play services is possible.
HONOR 10X lite is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor and comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. A huge 5,000mAh battery and 22.5W fast charging from the factory default, ensure a full day use while charging speed is fast. Also, HONOR 10X lite could be used as a power bank via its reverse charging feature.
Performance and Features of HONOR 10X Lite
From factory default, HONOR 10X Lite runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1. This smartphone has various useful features, such as dark mode, E-book mode, Digital Balance, Multi-windows, app lock and so on. It also has NFC and GPS.
I have tried Digital Balance, which is similar to the Zen mode on Oneplus phones, but personalized set up is made possible on the HONOR 10X Lite. When the time to use an app is up, using the “Me” account will allow you extra time, while the apps will be restricted when using the “My Child” account. In total, it’s pretty reliable to use to help to cultivate good habits.
Multi-Window is a feature that offers quick and convenient access to the most frequently used apps. Using multiple apps, or split-screen is made possible, which I found greatly improves efficiency.
Safe and app lock is also what can NOT be ignored. It’s a feature that you may not find useful at all in normal use, but when you lend the phone out, that feature is going to save you time and protect privacy.
Basically here is everything about the HONOR 10X Lite. Comment and share with us what you think about this model. Will you buy it or not if you are considering a new smartphone? Why or why not?
