Hello Everyone
I have found this great info regarding the Honor Watch GS Pro and it is worth sharing with all of you. You're likely familiar with the action of swiping down on the phone's status bar to access shortcuts, but you might not be aware that a similar design is available on HONOR watches as well. Here are four of the most commonly used features you can access on your wrist.
1. Finding your phone via your watch
If every once in a while you'd find yourself in the awkward situation of searching high and low for a misplaced phone, welcome to the club. But if you've got an HONOR watch, with its phone-finding feature, those days are likely over!
Instant drop-down access:
*Note: This feature only works when your watch remains connected to your phone.
2. Setting an on-wrist alarm
You may be wondering, why a watch alarm rather than a phone alarm? One reason is that a watch alarm can spare you the hazard of accidentally knocking your phone off your bed (which can shatter its screen!) when you fumble around for your phone to turn off or snooze the alarm. Also, an on-wrist alarm works by vibrating to wake you up, instead of playing a loud ringtone that could wake up your partner.
Instant drop-down access:
3. Keeping your watch dry and clean
Most HONOR watches support a swimming mode, helping you keep track of your stroke performance and fitness regimen. Though your watch has some degree of water-resistance, it's important to dry it properly after each swimming session — the same as you would want to clear the water from your ears to avoid potential long-term damage — especially if your watch incorporates a built-in speaker and microphone, as the Honor Watch GS Pro does, for instance. Fortunately, our watches are pretty good at drying themselves, and all you need to do is one swipe and two taps!
Instant drop-down access:
*Note: The water-resistant nature of HONOR watches entails that they can be worn during hand washing, on rainy days, during exercise, and in shallow water (such as in swimming pools and at the beach). HONOR watches are not suitable, however, for deepwater activities (such as snorkeling), hot showers, hot springs, saunas, steam rooms, diving, water skiing, or other activities that involve high-pressure and/or fast-flowing water.
4. Shutting it up
When you need to free yourself from the distraction of digital notifications and messages, for instance, during a conference or movie, you can simply set your watch to Do not disturb mode. Once enabled, it will prevent your watch from vibrating for incoming calls or messages, or from turning on its screen when you raise your wrist.
Instant drop-down access:
The other two shortcuts in the menu are Settings, which takes you straight to the watch settings screen, and Screen on, which keeps the screen on for five minutes.
Did you know about these functions and how often do you use them?
THANKS, KURAMA
