Hello Everyone
The topic of water resistance in relation to the smartwatch scene often has a somewhat vague focus with many misconceptions that waterproof and water-resistance are the same. Is my watch really waterproof? What does water resistance mean? Can I swim with my watch? These are all common questions that often go a bit unanswered. Today we will see what these terms mean, how they affect smartwatches, and how much water can our HONOR Watch GS Pro tolerate?
First of all, it is important to remember that " waterproof " does not mean infinite waterproofness. The difference between impermeability and water resistance refers to the degree to which water can be prevented from entering or exiting an object. Due to the complexity of their construction, it is almost impossible to ensure that electronic products are 100% waterproof without compromising design and function, and price. Luckily, 100% waterproofing is rarely necessary, and we can still calculate how much water pressure a device can withstand.
The HONOR Watch GS Pro has a water resistance of up to 5 ATMs or Bar. In other words, 5 'Atmospheres', which is equivalent to 50 meters of depth and pressure. Fortunately, with a 5 ATM resistance, you can do pretty much all of your favorite swimming activities except deep water diving. for example, and you certainly don't have to worry about things like showering or walking in the rain with your HONOR Watch GS Pro.
Hopefully, the issue of water resistance is clearer now. As you can see from the photos, the HONOR Watch GS Pro certainly passes the test! If you are interested in a different model from the HONOR smartwatch collection and want to save a little more, the HONOR MagicWatch 2 and the HONOR Watch Magic also have 5 ATM water protection.
Is water resistance an important factor for you in a smartwatch?
Have you already used a smartwatch in the water?
THANKS, KURAMA
