HONOR Scale 2: official unboxing, first setting and first feelings

Only a few days ago HONOR Scale 2 officially appeared on the hihonor.com italian store, and not even prominently among the product offerings; this Honor Scale 2 is the smart balance of our favourite brand.

Minimal, beautiful, white design, with a mix of glass and metal. The display that indicates the values at the top, dimensions and weight contained. Useful for an average user interested in monitoring their weight, but also for a family, a sportsman or a team of athletes. And in fact, I took it just to monitor the group of guys I train, hoping to see them again in the gym soon. The HONOR Scale 2 connects via Bluetooth to the smartphone thanks to the Huawei Health app. You can save data if you have your own Huawei ID, but you can also save multiple user profiles under the same Huawei ID.

Based on pioneering AI and big data models, the cutting-edge HUAWEI TruFit™ body composition analysis algorithm brings improved accuracy across the board.

3 – What is the sensitivity of HONOR Scale 2?

HONOR Scale 2 features a meticulous anti-interference weighing chip to detect even the slightest changes in weight. It also displays weight in both kg and lbs with hassle-free switching.

First impressions about HONOR Scale 2

Highly appreciated design, in line with smart devices, a sign that HONOR takes care of the details even for cheap items. Small size, convenient if you have to carry it in your gym bag, less comfortable if you have a bit thick feet (my 45 fits exactly). The three AAA batteries are not included in the package; pity it is not possible to recharge it via USB. Measurement time around one minute and as a first sensation the weight value seems quite true.

Note

For multiple measurements over an extended time period, make sure that the scale is on flat ground, and that your posture is similar each time.

The heart rate measurement function on the HONOR Scale 2 is recommended for use when the user is awake and inactive. Heart rate measurements should not be used as a basis for medical diagnosis or treatment.

A Scale 2 can be linked with up to five mobile phone numbers, with each number supporting a maximum of 10 users, that is, 50 users in total. This capability is ideal for identifying family members, or members of a household, but please note that some users with similar body types may not be correctly distinguished.
