The duration of warranty will be subject to laws of the country of sale which are in relating to warranty. Warranty will be available in GCC countries (KSA UAE BAH OMA KWT QTR) no matter which GCC country the customer buy from. Customer shall get warranty services through Honor Authorized Service Centers (ASC) for the products within warranty period, with the valid proof of purchase or billing.
a) Host (“Product”) – warranty period for UAE is twelve (12) months, except the watchband.
b) Charger – for a period of six (6) months*
c) If service requirement are out of the free warranty, the repair can be performed at customer’s own cost .
**The Warrantee Period shall commence from the date of receiving the Product by the customer (not transferable) under normal use.
3.TERMS & CONDITIONS
3.1 The Warranty extends only to customer who purchased the product from the HONORARABIA/UAE/ and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/customer.
3.2 The Warranty shall be conducted throughout Honor Authorized Service Centers in GCC countries only.
3.3 The information has to fill in completely and factually with the company stamp of seller or distributor in order to validate the warranty.
3.4 The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
a) Normal wear and tear of the equipment;
b) Unauthorized disassembly, repair, alteration or modification being carried out;
c) Misuse, abuse negligence or accident however caused to product(including Antenna and hands free Kit);
d) Improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, or any alternation or modification of the product;
e) Spillage of food or liquid, fall, corrosion, rust or the use of wrong voltage, or burning of printed circuit board;
f) Defect or damage arising from force majeure;
g) Lightening, accident or negligible use;
h) War, fire typhoon floor or earthquake;
i) Scratches or damage to plastic surface and all other externally parts that are due to normal customer use;
j) Connection to a device:
(1) Not endorsed by the Product;
(2) ) Not fit for use with the Product.
k) Defect arises out of the warranty period of the Product.
l) warranty will be null and void in any of the following events:
I.The product serial number, the accessory date code, the IMEI number, water indicator or the warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered or is illegible;
II.Any term contained in this warranty has been altered or modified in any without prior written consent of Honor;
III.Honor has not been notified by the customer of the alleged defect or malfunction of the product during the applicable warranty period;
IV.Unauthorized unlock on software and hardware, unauthorized software upgrade;
V.The defects caused by the fact that the battery has been short circuited or by the fact that the seals of the battery enclosure or the cells are broken or show evidence of tampering or by the fact that the battery has been used in equipment other than those for which it has been specified;
VI.Due to the complexity of liquid crystal displays on handheld devices, dead or bright pixels may sometimes occur. If the following occurs within DOA period, then consumer can request to replace the LCD at our Authorized Service Centre:
i)3 or more dead/bright pixels(*)anywhere on the crystal display;
ii)if there are only 2 dead/bright pixels, then they must be within 5mm of each other.
3.5 All related cost incidental and incurred thereto (without limitation to spare parts cost, maintenance cost, delivery, ect.) shall be borne by the Customer.
3.6 During the warranty period, and in case the Product is eligible for warrantee, HONOR or its Authorized Service Center will repair, at Honor’s option, the Product or any relevant parts thereof in the event that the product is found to be Defective. The customer of the product or his/her assignee (“consumer”) shall not be charged (whether for parts, labor or otherwise) for the repair or replacement of a defective product during the warranty period. All replaced parts, boards or equipment shall become the property of HONOR.
3.7 The warranty in respect of a repaired or replaced product/part shall extend for the remaining warranty period of the repaired Product or replacement thereof to the Consumer.
3.8 Upon request from HONOR, the Consumer may be required to provide the purchase receipt or other documentation or information in respect of the date and place of purchase.
3.9 Before returning any unit for service, be sure to backup your data and remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information from the product. Honor is not responsible for the damage to or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media where you do not backup your data.
3.10 If the Product is return to service center or Honor after the expiry of the warranty period, Honor’s normal Service Policies shall apply and the Customer will be charged for the maintenance of the Product accordingly. Honor neither assumes any other obligation or liabilities that which is expressly provided for in this limited warranty. All warranty information, product features and specification are subject to change from time to time.
3.11 EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE, HONOR GRANTS NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, BY STATUTE OR OTHERWISE,REGARDING THE PRODUCT, FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE. HONOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCONVENIENCE,LOSS OR ANY OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.
